2018 Changes - in order to best provide advice / specific focus, the following changes have been introduced.

The coached sessions will be specific to program and not to the session timetable. As such some sessions per week will not have a on water coach.

Members will be running from a program and schedule provided (typically monthly).

Typically: Medium / Long Aerobic Session.. Emphasis on technical foundation and aerobic base.

KEY GOLD

Gold designated sessions are higher intensity, more demanding and more technical. Best suited for intermediate and advanced paddlers. Green paddlers are welcome to join in and will be accommodated as best as we can, however the emphasis is for the GOLD Standard.

The Fastest Squad (except Black)

SILVER

Silver designated sessions are for intermediate paddlers looking to push themselves OR more advanced paddlers who are not as fit as Gold. A mix of Fitness, Technique and Control

The Middle Squad

GREEN

Green designated sessions are for intermediate paddlers. Stroke development, technique drills, and boat control. This is a great squad for learning to paddle faster in a nice and controlled squad which is fun and challenging.

The Intermediate Squad

PINK Novice, Beginner and Intermediate training - most suitable for beginner paddlers or those wishing to slow things down and concentrate on key drills. Please note this is a $25 per session.
SOCIAL Social Group paddling is a great opportunity to try paddling, either with or without a boat. Great for novice, once in a while paddlers, or for anyone just wanting to get out in the wonderful waterways of Pittwater.
TIME Please arrive 30mins before, times listed are on water commencement. Most sessions are 1 hr.

PRIVATE / SPECIAL SESSIONS
TYPE DETAILS
  BEGINNER A special intensive beginner course, small group size, includes equipment if required. more info here ->
  PRIVATE A one on one session going through equipment, setup, position, fundamental technique. Then going into more detail with stroke development, technique drills, speed targets, realistic goals for improvement, and establishing a program.
  VIDEO Video session (usually conducted in a small group) with feedback and instructions. Very helpful for assisting with technique correction, boat selection.
  PROGRAM Custom program working with you to best acheive and focus your goals. Maybe it is preparation for a big event, or wanting to optimise your training time. Looking at paddling, cross training, strength, flexibility in balance with your lifestyle and your goals.
  DOUBLE Paddle in a double to learn the feel, follow the technique and experience greater speed. Learn about boat control, positioning and the art of paddling a team boat.
  SPECIAL EXPERTS

Special Clinics and Sessions, often run by specialist experts. Such as:

Paddling specific YOGA / STRETCH courses, CORE courses
